I almost stepped on this... but why do dogs like to smell poop?

Ciel discovered a old dirty slipper... just latched on and loved the thing. (Nikon D7100)

Rainy day so just let Ciel walk around the yard.

But then she started smelling then trying to pull something out of this area.

It was a dirty slipper that must have been there for years... 

Almost seems like she was eating to eat the thing. 

New best toy I think.
